Introduction:

Effective management of hazards, risks, and opportunities within our Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) is essential for preventing workplace incidents, promoting well-being, and enhancing our overall health and safety performance. Purpose:
The purpose of this policy is to establish a systematic approach to identifying, assessing, and managing hazards, risks, and opportunities related to occupational health and safety. Replace with Company Name will ensure that legal requirements are up-to-date and applicable to the hazards and risks associated with the OH&S management system. These requirements will be communicated to the interested parties of the organization and taken into consideration for the continual improvement process of the OH&S management system. [4] This policy aims to minimize hazards, capitalize on opportunities for improvement, and ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, and to ensure the ongoing effectiveness and continual improvement of our health and safety management system.
This policy is implemented, maintained, continuously monitored and reviewed by the Responsible Safety Officer (RSO), Replace with Safety Person’s Name.
Scope:
This policy applies to all activities, processes, facilities, and employees under the control of Replace with Company Name. It encompasses the identification, assessment, and management of hazards, risks, and opportunities related to occupational health and safety.
