Introduction:

Replace with Company Name is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment through the continuous improvement of our Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) and Quality Management System (QMS).  Replace with Company Name shall determine and provide the persons necessary for the effective implementation of their quality management system. We shall consider the capabilities of, and constraints on, existing internal resources and what needs to be obtained from external providers. Replace with Company Name will plan and implement the monitoring, measurement, analysis and improvement processes needed to:
•    Demonstrate conformity of the product,
•    Ensure conformity of the OHSMS/QMS, and
•    Continually improve the effectiveness of the OHSMS/QMS.
This will include determination of applicable methods, including statistical techniques, and the extent of their use.  To ensure this, Replace with Company Name will determine, provide and maintain the environment necessary for the operation of its processes and to achieve conformity of products and services. An environment conducive to the organizations goals includes one that is free from discrimination, and promotes a healthy work/life balance. Physical factors of the environment can include appropriate temperatures, humidity, lighting, and noise levels.  [2] 

Monitoring and measurement of processes
Quality management system processes are monitored by a variety of approaches and techniques, as appropriate for a particular process and its importance. These include:
•    Conducting internal audits of the quality system.
•    Monitoring trends in corrective and preventive action requests.
•    Measuring product conformity and monitoring other quality performance data and trends
•    Measuring and monitoring customer satisfaction.
